The special handling we provide ensures your high value and sensitive shipments are delivered on site and in position with the utmost care. Our experienced driver teams use a modern, air-ride fleet from 5-ton straight trucks to highway and day cab configurations with 28’ and 53’ trailers. Temperature controlled and flatbed equipment is also utilized as required.
Our expert delivery teams have the tools and the experience to deliver 5 Star Service Solutions. The following equipment and devices are utilized as required on each high value move:
Our 53’ air ride trailers have an overall height of 13.5 ft. which limits their use where height restrictions come into play at the delivery site. For that reason we also utilize straight trucks that can be as much as 1 ft. 3 in. extra clearance.
Because loading docks are not always available all our equipment come with electronic tailgate systems for curbside loading and unloading. There are many types available including tuck-away, drop down and rail gate. The tuck-away system is the work horse of the industry and for weights up to 6,000 lbs. the rail gate is the best option.
In general terms our straight truck fleet is used for city and short haul moves. With an overall length of 32 ft. and a box length of 24’ it can accommodate most projects and is much easier to maneuver than our tractor trailer assets.
Used to transport a shipment upstairs with motorized ease. Secured by logistic straps and corner protectors it maintains the speed at a constant level without tilting or endangering your valuable shipment in any way.
Computer carts were developed to move fragile technology like cash registers, computer terminals and smaller electronic devices. They are also referred to as “term carts”. They are equipped with adjustable shelves to maximize the items that can be moved on one cart. Bubble wrap, pads and blankets are used for protection of the devices and then the whole cart is shrink wrapped, blanket wrap and secured for transport.
For weights up to 600 lbs., these dollies move your product over all types of flooring safely, without making marks of any kind. The wheels move in all directions to make for easy maneuvering through tight space constraints.
Two sizes, two weight limits (1,200 lbs. & 1,800 lbs.). Where restricted access comes into play, we can safely move your heavy and fragile shipment up and down stairs, narrow hallways and height restricted passages.
For weights between 5,000 and 7,500 lbs. this portable, manual fork lift can lift product to a height between 12 and 16 ft. It’s great for maneuvering in situations where space is tight.
Well suited for transporting medical and computer equipment this cart is equipped to raise your equipment to a maximum height of 4 ft. and maximum weight of 600 lbs. with ease. At counter level our skilled delivery teams can then safely move it to its final position.
A great tool for lifting weights up to 4,000 lbs. a height of 8 inches. Used for lifting a heavy crate off the ground to allow a dolly or cart to be placed underneath for easier transport. The polyurethane/rubber mix wheels are safe on all floors.
For small objects, files and cables, these bins are used to safely contain and transport items that might otherwise get misplaced or lost. Each bin is labelled for contents, sealed with a lid and packing tape to ensure a safe and secure move along with the larger item(s) being relocated.
The work horse of the industry, moving pads may not be glamourous but they do protect goods from dust and the elements, while our dedicated delivery teams transport them to their final destination.
A panel cart is used to safely move large flat objects. These “bare” items are first wrapped in a protective blanket before being placed on the cart. The panel cart is ideally suited for the transport of lighter but more fragile and awkward flat objects to be moved.
Utilizing 4 man teams with weights over 250 lbs., this device is great for moving your sensitive equipment where space is tight and stairs come into play.
Pallet jacks have a carrying capacity of 5,000 lbs. and are standard equipment on all our trucks. They are easier to transport and are great to transport product in tight spots and to and from the tailgate platforms. They also have greater flexibility in transporting small, large and odd sized pallets.
Less than half the weight capacity of the regular pallet jack, it can be used to raise or lower shipments which are stacked or on another logistics platform. Basically a manual forklift that is versatile and easy to transport. A common use, in conjunction with the tailgate, is to assist with the raising or lowering of shipments that exceed the tailgate dimensions. Maximum capacity is 2,200 lbs.
We do our utmost to be prepared for every situation and that includes having a variety of steel ramps and walk boards to accommodate difficult delivery situations. We have varying sizes from 8 to 16 ft. No dock plate, an incline or a smaller curbside delivery are all situations where our portable ramps successfully resolve the situation. We also have varying sizes of steel plates to cover cracks in pavement and create a bridge over door entrances and elevator thresholds.
Heavy equipment without wheels are handled with our specialized Roll-O-Lift equipment. For the protection of your floors at the delivery site, Masonite protection is used to get your product to its final destination safely and without damage.
An adjustable, standard logistic strap secures product to the inside of our trucks during transit while the ratchet strap helps to secure shipments of a greater weight.
